Hi there! I’m Lisa Janssen, and I’m a stay-at-home mom living in Darien, Connecticut. I’m married to my amazing husband Jim and we have three children: Jake (15), Emily (12), and Nick (9). On the weekends, my husband and I love to explore the many wonderful restaurants around Fairfield County.

I’m a big fan of cooking and baking and I love trying out new recipes and creating my own. I’m also an avid sailor, so in the summer we take our boat out on Long Island Sound. In the winter, we head up to Vermont to ski.

I recently decided to start a blog to share my recipes with the world. It’s been a great way to stay connected with other home cooks and get feedback on my recipes!
