My family loves breakfast, and one of our favorite recipes is my mom’s garlic scrambled eggs. Every time I make it, I’m reminded of my son Jake and the time I taught him how to make it.
When Jake was about 8, I decided to teach him how to make scrambled eggs. He was so eager to learn, so I showed him how to crack the eggs and how to mix them together. We added a generous sprinkle of garlic powder, some salt and pepper, and a splash of milk. After stirring everything together, we poured the eggs into a skillet. Jake watched as I stirred the eggs around until they were cooked through.
The result was delicious! Jake proudly served up the garlic scrambled eggs to the rest of the family, beaming with pride.
