Delicious Baked Oregano Chicken Recipe – Perfect For Lazy Sunday Dinners!

My kids love when I make this recipe for them – and it’s one of my favorite comfort foods. I usually make it on lazy Sundays when we’re all just hanging around the house. It’s a classic Italian dish – baked oregano chicken.

The key to this recipe is to be generous with the oregano. The oregano gives it a nice flavor and makes it feel like a special treat. I start by marinating chicken breasts in a mixture of olive oil, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper for about an hour. Then, I put the chicken in a baking dish and top it with slices of mozzarella cheese and a sprinkle of oregano. I bake the chicken in the oven at 375 degrees for about 25 minutes.

The results are delicious! The cheese melts and the oregano gives it a great flavor. When I serve it, I like to add some cherry tomatoes and a sprinkle of parsley on top.
