Homemade Granola Recipe with Nuts: A Sentimental Story with Tips and Instructions

Good morning, everyone! As a busy mom, I know how difficult it can be to make a healthy and delicious breakfast that the whole family will love. That’s why I’m excited to share my recipe for homemade granola with you today!

Granola is one of my go-to breakfast options because it’s easy to make, customizable, and packed with nutrients. Plus, my kids love it! I like to add nuts to my granola for some extra protein and crunch.

One of my fondest memories of making granola was with my daughter Emily. She loves to cook and bake with me, and when she was younger she would always help me measure out the ingredients and stir the mixture together. Now that she’s older, she’s become quite the expert at making granola on her own!

Here’s what you’ll need to make this delicious homemade granola:

Ingredients:
– 3 cups rolled oats
– 1 cup chopped nuts (I like to use almonds and pecans)
– 1/4 cup honey
– 1/4 cup coconut oil
– 1 tsp vanilla extract
– 1/2 tsp cinnamon
– 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
2. In a large bowl, mix together the rolled oats and chopped nuts.
3. In a small saucepan, heat the honey and coconut oil over low heat until the coconut oil is melted.
4. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
5. Pour the honey mixture over the oat mixture and stir until everything is well coated.
6. Spread the mixture evenly on a lined baking sheet.
7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the granola is golden brown.
8. Let the granola cool completely before storing in an airtight container.

I love to serve this granola with some fresh berries and yogurt for a healthy and filling breakfast. It’s also great as a snack or topping for smoothie bowls.

I hope you give this recipe a try and make some memories in the kitchen with your loved ones!
